Dr. Clayton PiezDoctor of Physical Therapy
Dr. Clayton Piez received his Bachelor of Psychology from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. He received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Prior to joining the West Loop Spine & Stability team, Clayton worked in a variety of specialties ranging from outpatient orthopedic and neurological care, to hospital based acute and inpatient care. From these experiences, as well as his additional course work in fitness, wellness, nutrition, and strength and conditioning, Clayton has honed his skills in the effective treatment of a variety of spinal and peripheral neuro-orthopedic dysfunctions. In addition, Clayton has advanced training with specialization in vestibular dysfunction which focuses on the improvement of vertigo with a devotion to rehabbing patients to better quality of life.
Clayton prides himself on providing the most patient focused, comprehensive patient care, and he understands the importance of efficiently restoring an optimal level of function to each of his patients. In order to provide the best evidence based care, Clayton focuses his treatment on manual therapy techniques, neuro-muscular re-education, and functional strengthening which is specific to each patient’s diagnosis.
Fun Fact: Dr. Clayton, on a more personal level, spends his free time working out, traveling and rooting for a winning season for the New York Jets!
