BOSU/Disc

image of people working out on bosu equipment.

A great way to both work on strengthening the core muscles that wrap around your waist and support your spine and improve your balance and coordination is with a new workout tool called a BOSU which stands for "both sides up." On one side it is a half of a balance ball on the other side it is a flat surface.

This is a great tool that allows you to complete a variety of different workouts. Inflatable discs or foam pads are another type of workout tool to exercise your nervous system and improve your balance and coordination. This is a great way to reduce your risk of injury as you age. Many age-related injuries are due to falls because of poor balance and coordination.

  • "Dr. Jodie is great! I am a marathon runner and started going to see Dr. Jodie for plantar fascitis, she treated me for this condition and I have been very pleased with her knowledge. She genuinely cares for her patients."

  • "Dr. Jodi is truly amazing at what she does and genuinely cares about her patients. I went to Dr. Jodi last year when I was diagnosed with Bells Palsy. After just a few visits my face was back to normal and my back and neck never felt better. I highly recommend her."

  • "I'd like to thank Jodi for the fantastic job she has done. I am already feeling better. This is the first time since 2007 when I injured my back, that I can say I have nearly zero pain. I have been in constant pain all day, everyday. I've seen 4 chiropractors before Jodi. I am very grateful to have met her. I highly recommend her."
