A native of Chicagoland, Kat’s movement experience began dancing at the age of 2. Kat trained at the Joffrey Ballet School in New York City and graduated with a BA in Dance from Columbia College Chicago. Kat is hoping to pursue a dual Doctorate of Physical Therapy/Masters of Public Health beginning fall of 2022. Kat teaches Pilates at Amplified Pilates Center and holds a 450-hour Comprehensive Pilates Instructor Certification through Pilates Sports Center and coaches Interval and Hi Def classes at Studio Three. She has been involved on the 'behind-the-desk' side of the fitness industry for more than eight years with a work/study with One Hundred Fitness and as management at Equinox Fitness Clubs, Ivivva by Lululemon Athletica, Studio Three, and as Director of Group Classes at Amplified Pilates Center. She also holds her NASM-CPT certification and is certified in Core Align 1, Pom squad Fitness, and VKJNA Steel Mace. Her and her partner have a red Siberian husky named Jack who (joyfully) takes up their free time! Kat’s favorite artist is Run the Jewels and she can be found with rap or hip hop in her headphones most of the time.
