Meet the Physical Therapy Aide

Hello everyone, my name is Angel Morrison and I am a Western Illinois University graduate with a bachelors in exercise science! Exercise has always been my passion since I was a track athlete in highschool.

College is where I strengthened my knowledge of exercise science with exciting classes like cardiac rehab, zoology, human anatomy & physiology, and even a whole semester of a personal training course! However, my enthusiasm for physical therapy actually began during my internship as a physical therapist aide. During my internship I acquired 400 observation hours, all the while developing skills and experience in patient and outpatient physical therapy. The most thrilling activity I recall doing was creating my own senior fitness plan and presenting it to both occupational and physical therapists.

In the future, some time next year, I plan to go back to school for two years to attain my license as a physical therapist assistant! 
When I’m not working, I love to cook, lift weights and spend quality time with my family!
