Julianne began dancing as a young child in her hometown of Gainesville, Florida and continued her training at Gus Giordano Dance School and Transcen- Dance Studios when she moved to Oak Park, Illinois at the age of 12. Julianne’s interest in dance, movement, and science lead her back to Gainesville in 2018 to pursue her Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology at the University of Florida. Julianne continued dancing with campus group Floridance and held the position of Vice President of UF’s rhythm tap dance team, Stomp the Swamp. She spent her last semester as an undergraduate interning at Shirley Ryan Ability Lab in the adaptive sports and fitness center in Chicago, working closely with exercise physiologists and assisting with adaptive sports. Julianne continues to stay connected to her passion for dance by teaching dance classes at TranscenDance Studios. Julianne spends her free time enjoying the parks and beaches in Hyde Park, where she currently resides with her fiancé, their bearded dragon Lola, and their fish Kami.
