West Loop Physical Therapy

What is Physical Therapy?

Physical Therapy is the practice of; developing, maintaining and restoring people's maximum movement and functional ability through individualized, carefully designed, exercises and therapeutic treatments. Specifically, Physical Therapists work with people in any stage of life when movement and function are limited. The goal of physical therapy is to restore function and quality of life by returning people to the activities they love.

Why choose West Loop Spine & Stability Physical Therapy?

At West Loop Spine and Stability we believe in treating the root cause of the condition and not simply the symptoms. We take every diagnosis seriously and for this reason we feel each patient deserves our full, undivided attention. West Loop Spine & Stability offers one hour of direct, one-on-one, patient care. Your Physical Therapist is with you from the moment you step into the office through your whole treatment. We do not use assistants or aids to provide any part of the treatment! This is a very individualized treatment style that is tailored to each individual we treat. No two patients are the same so we feel that taking the extra time and individual care will help us get you better and keep you better.

What should you expect at your visit?

Every aspect of your visit is carefully curated to provide an effective and collaborative experience. We will perform an initial examination in order to determine the root cause of the issue and then decide, together, the ideal amount of treatment needed to attain the desired goals. During the initial evaluation, we will perform a full body screening and functional movement assessment in order to accurately detect areas of pain and/or limitation. We then incorporate a variety of therapeutic treatments including, but not limited to; stretching, myofascial release, trigger point release, spinal manipulation, cupping, vestibular therapy, electrical stimulation, cryotherapy and various movement-based exercises. Each follow up visit will be specially designed by your Physical Therapist utilizing the most evidence base therapies and exercises to continue to progress towards your individual goal driven results.

  • "Dr. Jodie is great! I am a marathon runner and started going to see Dr. Jodie for plantar fascitis, she treated me for this condition and I have been very pleased with her knowledge. She genuinely cares for her patients."

  • "Dr. Jodi is truly amazing at what she does and genuinely cares about her patients. I went to Dr. Jodi last year when I was diagnosed with Bells Palsy. After just a few visits my face was back to normal and my back and neck never felt better. I highly recommend her."
  • "I'd like to thank Jodi for the fantastic job she has done. I am already feeling better. This is the first time since 2007 when I injured my back, that I can say I have nearly zero pain. I have been in constant pain all day, everyday. I've seen 4 chiropractors before Jodi. I am very grateful to have met her. I highly recommend her."
